2. Application: For first-time use, apply the dye mixture to dry, unwashed hair using a dye brush, sectioning the hair for thorough coverage. 3. Processing Time: Allow the dye to sit for a total of 30 minutes—20 minutes for the roots and an additional 10 minutes for the lengths of the hair. Note that the color may evolve during this time.
